The Tangshan Jade Emperor Temple is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Tangshan Jade Emperor Temple is located in Zhifang Town, Jiaxiang County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On October 10, 2013, the Tangshan Jade Emperor Temple was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Zhifang Town: Located 30 kilometers southwest of Jining City, Zhifang Town covers a total area of 96 square kilometers, governs 51 administrative villages, has a population of 19,000 households (83,000 people), and includes 68,000 mu of arable land. It lies north of the Rihé Expressway, with the Xinshi Railway running east-west and Provincial Highway Jiajin stretching from north to south. Jining Airport is also situated within the town. The area spans three major rivers—the Zhu River, the Zhu-Zhao New River, and the Cai River—making transportation by land, water, and air highly convenient. The region boasts rich natural and tourism resources, including 48 hills of varying sizes, forming the only small hill cluster in southwestern Shandong.
