The site of the ancient Nanyi City is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

The site of the ancient Nanyi City is located in Achengpu Village, Mankong Town, Jiaxiang County, dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period to the Han Dynasty, and is classified as an ancient ruin.

On November 27, 2012, the site of the ancient Nanyi City was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

Mankong Town: Mankong Township is located in the southern part of Jiaxiang County, at the junction of Jinxian, Jiaxiang, and Juye counties. It is 25 kilometers from the county seat of Jiaxiang, 20 kilometers from the county seat of Jinxian, 10 kilometers south of Jining Airport, and 9 kilometers from the Memorial Hall of the Southwest Shandong Campaign. Provincial Highway 252 runs north-south through the area, and the Cai River flows east-west across the territory. The township covers an area of 40 square kilometers. It is the hometown of Zengzi, the Sage of Filial Piety, and both the Zeng Temple and Zeng Forest are key national and provincial-level cultural heritage protection units. The Zeng Temple has been rated as a AAAA-level tourist attraction. The township administers 26 administrative villages, with 8,439 households and a population of 31,012.
