Jiaxiang Qingshan Scenic Area

The Jiaxiang Qingshan Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Qingshan Scenic Area is located 3 kilometers northwest of Jining Qufu Airport (6 kilometers south of Jiaxiang County), featuring beautiful scenery, lush forests and springs, and picturesque mountains and waters. It is known as the "Little Mount Tai" for its "four temples, two shrines, and four springs," making it a popular destination for prayer, blessings, leisure, and vacation. The thousand-year-old Qingshan Temple, hidden among the verdant pines and cypresses on the western foothills of Qingshan, is the divine temple of the King of the Jiao State, a feudal state enfeoffed by King Wu of Zhou. It is perpetually filled with incense smoke and the sound of temple bells. Fayun Temple was first built during the Tang Dynasty and earned its name from the saying "the divine calculations of Fayun are unmatched under heaven." The Buddha statues in the temple are all carved from Burmese jade, featuring vivid designs and brilliant colors. It is currently the largest, most numerous, and most comprehensively structured jade Buddha temple in China.
