Jiuding Mountain China Wellness City is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Jiuding Mountain China Wellness City is situated in the southwestern part of Shandong Province, within the Jiuding Mountain Scenic Area in Zhifang Town, Jiaxiang County — the hometown of Zengzi and the land of qilin. To the west is Provincial Highway 252, and to the east, the under-construction tourist road Jiashan Greenway traverses the site, leading directly to Jiaxiang Airport. The area also enjoys access to the Jixu Expressway, Rilan Expressway, National Highway 327, and National Highway 105, forming an extensive road network. The project is just 2 kilometers from Jining Qufu Airport and only 16 kilometers from downtown Jining. The western extension of Jining’s South Outer Ring Road reaches Zhongshan in Jiaxiang, leading directly to the north gate of the Wellness City, a mere 15-minute drive away. It is also only 4 kilometers from Jiaxiang County Town, with the southern extension of Hongshan Road in Jiaxiang reaching the north gate of the Wellness City, a 5-minute drive. The majority of the project lies within the jurisdiction of Zhifang Town, including parts of Maji Town and Jiaxiang Subdistrict. It stretches from Provincial Highway S252 in the west to the eastern foothills of Jiuding Mountain in the east, from the Jiaxiang South Ring Road in the north to the southernmost foothills of Jiuding Mountain in the south. To the west, it extends across the Nanshulong Mountain Range, and to the southwest, it reaches Wuling Mountain. This area is a mountain basin surrounded by hills such as Diaoyutai Mountain, Little Huangshan, Wolong Mountain, the Jiuding Mountain Range, and the Phoenix Mountain Range. Diaoyutai Mountain stands at 203 meters, Jiuding Mountain at 182 meters, Little Huangshan at 130 meters, and the Phoenix Mountain Range at 165 meters. Valley terrain ranges from 44 to 51 meters above sea level, while slopes range from 54 to 91 meters.

The project is designed around the themes of “mountains and waters, gardens, and the bright moon,” emphasizing four key design concepts: “landscape, gardens, folk culture, and wellness culture.” It is positioned as a high-end, new ecological town community integrating functions such as “medical wellness, leisure vacation, sports and fitness, agricultural tourism, traditional Chinese medicine health care, hotel conferences, comprehensive business, and eco-living.”
