Heroes' Pavilion

Heroes' Pavilion (formerly the Huxi Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall) is located south of Red Avenue, facing the Huxi Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Tower across the river. Construction began in March 2009 and was completed in August. It is a two-story antique-style building with a floor area of 1,500 m², topped with yellow glazed tiles and featuring upturned eaves. The three bold characters "Heroes' Pavilion" are prominently displayed in the center on the front facade of the second floor. The first floor is surrounded by a corridor supported by 36 grand red pillars, creating an imposing sight. Inside the pavilion, modern technologies such as sound, light, and electricity are combined with traditional display methods—including sand tables, sculptures, oil paintings, photographs, texts, and relics—to showcase the magnificent revolutionary history of the Huxi region during the New Democratic Revolution period, the War of Resistance against Japan, and the Liberation War.
