Daiyue Scenic Area

Daiyue Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Daiyue Scenic Area is located in the southern part of Shanxian Development Zone. Completed and put into use in 2010, it covers an area of 260,000 square meters. Designed by the Landscape Architecture Design Institute of Tongji University, it relies on natural geographical resources such as the Dongshun River and barren sandy land. With the theme of ecological environment restoration, it employs engineering techniques and artistic methods to create a beautiful natural and recreational environment through constructing hills, stacking rocks, managing water, planting grass and trees, building structures, and arranging garden paths.

The main attractions in the scenic area include plant communities, rockeries and waterfalls, landscape stone arrangements, trestle bridges and lakeside pavilions, lake views, Daiyue Pavilion, children’s amusement park, Starry Sky Square, Tai Chi Square, Mingqin Square, Xingyue Square, and the Shouting Fountain.
