The Lotus Garden Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Shanxian Lotus Garden Scenic Area is located on Binhe Road in the development zone of Shanxian County. Built on the wasteland of the lower reaches of Donggou River, it is a park themed around waste sorting and is recognized as a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Based on the landscape design concept of a "green city," the Lotus Garden has created attractions such as plant communities, scenic rock arrangements, boardwalks and pavilions by the lake, lake views, and leisure pavilions. While creating a beautiful ecological environment, it also provides residents with an ideal place for leisure and entertainment.

The Lotus Viewing Platform, themed around "mountain-water lotuses" and aiming to showcase the beauty of lotuses, is a circular water-friendly lotus appreciation area formed through environmental remediation and artistic refinement. It presents a beautiful scene where water accompanies the city and lotuses harmonize with the wetlands. Citizens and tourists can get close to the water, admire the lotuses, and experience and appreciate the unique sentiment of "endless green lotus leaves stretching to the sky, and lotus blossoms unusually red under the sun," as well as the distinctive charm of lotus culture.

Lotus Lake is the core attraction of the Lotus Garden Scenic Area. In summer, the lake is covered with lotuses stretching as far as the eye can see, in countless graceful forms and pure white colors. When a gentle breeze blows, the lotuses sway with the wind, their fragrance wafting through the air, while butterflies flutter and play among them.
