The Yuzhang Family Manor Archway is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

Brief:

The Yuzhang Family Manor Archway features four pillars, three bays, and double eaves, constructed with bluestone and blue bricks. It was originally built during the Southern Song Dynasty, renovated by descendants in the Ming Dynasty, and again restored by the imperial court during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The archway is 5.81 meters wide, with a central span of 3.02 meters between the two middle pillars and a door width of 1.36 meters. The central ridge of the archway is 4.95 meters high, while the side ridges are 3.85 meters high. The door is 2.4 meters high. The four pillars stand on stone-and-wood pedestals, with the upper parts of the pillars and the lower sections of the side beams carved with hexagonal geometric patterns. The plaque inscribed with “Yuzhang Family” is written in running regular script, with small characters in the upper right corner reading “Song Dynasty Privy Councilor Luo Dian”; the left side bears small inscriptions stating “Renovated by Ming descendants” and “Guangxu Year of the Ox.” The characters “Guangxu…” overlap the left side of the character “Family” on the plaque.

In December 2006, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units in Jiangxi Province.
