The Ruins of the Seven-Connected Cities are a cultural heritage site protected by Nanchang City.

Introduction:

The ruins form a narrow, low-lying ridge running from north to south, stretching 1,000 meters in length and 50–60 meters in width from east to west. The area is bordered by rice paddies on the east and west, a forest farm to the south, and the Zhejiang–Jiangxi Railway to the north, with an irrigation channel flowing northward through the western field ridges. The narrow ridge is divided into seven sections of varying lengths and shapes. Artifacts are scattered across the central part of the ruins, including stone tools such as adzes, axes, arrowheads, knives, spades, molds, as well as chopping and scraping tools. Pottery fragments consist of red and gray pottery, predominantly hard stamped pottery with geometric patterns, along with rope and mat impressions.

Minhe Town: With a long history, Minhe Town had already taken shape in the early Song Dynasty. Since the establishment of the county, it has served as the county seat and has always been the political, economic, and cultural center of Jinxian County.

Located on the southern shore of Poyang Lake and 60 kilometers southeast of Nanchang, the provincial capital known as the Hero City, Minhe Town is regarded as the eastern gateway to Nanchang. At the end of 2001, following the consolidation of towns and townships, the neighboring Huangling, Zhu’niugang, and Yunqiao townships were merged into Minhe Town, transforming what was once purely an urban town into an integrated urban-rural settlement.
