Pingshi Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected by Jinxian County.

Address: 50 meters south of Huangjia Village, Daxi, Jiaqiao Town, Jinxian County

The bridge runs east–west, spanning a Ming-era canal to the west of the village. It is paved with three red stone slabs, each 3.6 meters long and 0.45 meters square, laid on an “eight”-shaped pier. The upstream side of the pier features a sluice notch, and the north side of the bridge stone is inscribed with “Tianqi First Year, Tenth Month, Auspicious Day.” It is the only ancient bridge in Jinxian County with a verified date of construction.

Since the reform and opening-up, the town’s economy has developed rapidly, villages and towns have transformed day by day, and society has become harmonious and civilized. In 2005, the local GDP reached 277.95 million yuan, total industrial and agricultural output value was 270 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3,317 yuan.
