Introduction:

Donggui Village is situated 950 meters southeast of Laidu Town, facing south with a stone-lined pond at its front. Sixteen Qing Dynasty buildings with a total area of over 2,000 square meters are spread across three lanes. These structures are built with red stone, timber framing, and feature plaques inscribed with phrases such as “Detailed Opening for Generations,” “Literary Peaks Nurturing Excellence,” “Moon Cavern Rooted Deep,” “Generations Upholding Loyalty,” “Fragrance from the Moon Palace,” “Osmanthus Heavenly Scent,” “Tongyin Thatched Hall,” “Golden Millet Flowing Fragrance,” “Soaring High,” “Spiritual Land Nurturing Excellence,” and “Tingyu Public School.” By the pond at the entrance, there are two pairs of Ming and Qing dynasty flagstone bases made of bluestone, as well as one ancient well.

Laidu Town: Laidu Town is under the jurisdiction of Jinxian County, Nanchang City. It is located in the southwestern part of Jinxian County, along the middle and lower reaches of the Fu River. It is the hometown of the world-renowned violinist Sheng Zhongguo, a key town in Jiangxi Province, and an economic hub of Jinxian County. Covering a total area of 40 square kilometers, it has 23,000 mu of arable land and a population of 45,000, including 18,000 in the town center. The town administers 14 village committees and 4 neighborhood committees.
