Nan Tudun Site

The Nan Tudun Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Xinjian County.

Address: 500 meters south of Xiabuji Street, Xiabuji Township

Introduction:

A tributary of the Xiabu Port runs along the western side of the site. The terrace is 5 meters high, 45 meters long from north to south, and 17 meters wide from east to west. There is an earthen wall about 1.5 meters high surrounding the site, with an entrance and exit 4 meters wide on the eastern side. In 1960, the upper part of the terrace was disturbed due to the construction of a pigsty, which damaged the cultural layer. Stone artifacts unearthed at the site include stone axes, and pottery fragments feature mat impressions.

Xiabuji Township: Located southeast of Nanchang City and in the eastern part of Xinjian County, Xiabuji Township is under the jurisdiction of Xinjian County. The township government is based in Xiabuji, which is 14 kilometers from the county seat and 70 kilometers from Nanchang City. The total area of the township is 121.3 square kilometers, covering 16 administrative villages and 137 natural villages, with a total population of 28,750. It is an agricultural township with strategic location advantages, convenient transportation, abundant resources, great development potential, beautiful landscapes, and a relaxed environment.
