The Site of the Yunshan Revolutionary Base is a cultural tourism attraction and a classic red tourism site.

The Site of the Yunshan Revolutionary Base is located in Yongxiu County. In January 1928, the Yongxiu County Committee of the Chinese Communist Party established the Yongxiu Guerrilla Brigade, consisting of over 150 men and weapons, and decided to set up a revolutionary base on Yunshan Mountain (now known as "Yunju Mountain") to lead the local people in armed struggle. In August, the guerrilla brigade was reorganized into the Eighth Column of the Jiangxi Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Guerrilla Forces; in October, it was defeated after being besieged by enemy troops. In July 1934, the Yongxiu Workers' and Peasants' Guerrilla Brigade stationed at Yangjialing once again advanced into Yunshan and conducted training at Zhenru Temple, but failed again in March 1935. In September 1935, Xu Yangang led the 16th Division of the Red Army to encounter the main force of the enemy at Xiaping Village in Yunshan. During the fierce battle, Xu Yanguang was unfortunately wounded and remained in the mountains to recover, but was soon killed. Existing sites include the former training ground of the guerrillas and the site where Xu Yanguang was martyred.
