Hedong Wild Goose Pagoda is a cultural tourism attraction.

Hedong Wild Goose Pagoda, also known as Cisheng Temple Pagoda, is located in Xiabao Village Group, Datang Village, Xujian Town. It was first built in 1138 during the Southern Song Dynasty when Guangchang County was established, modeled after the Wild Goose Pagoda in Chang’an of the Tang Dynasty. Having weathered the passage of time and undergoing cycles of prosperity and decline, the "Frost on the Wild Goose Pagoda" was one of the ancient ten scenic spots of Guangchang. Unfortunately, it was demolished in 1986. To promote local distinctive history and culture, Guangchang County built the "Hedong Forest Park," making the reconstruction of Hedong Wild Goose Pagoda an early project in the park’s development. Reconstruction was completed between September 1998 and February 2000. The pagoda was designed to replicate its original appearance: eight sides and seven stories, standing 51.986 meters tall. With seven visible floors and six hidden ones, it is a brick-and-wood structure built in the style of a Song Dynasty pavilion-style Buddhist pagoda. Its style, materials, and color palette are all modeled after the Song Dynasty, resulting in an elegant and dignified yet simple form that adds a beautiful landscape to Lotus Township Guangchang.

On July 26, 1999, between 10:00 and 11:00 AM, just as the main finial pole of the rebuilt pagoda was being installed, a rare auspicious phenomenon occurred—a seven-colored circular halo appeared atop the pagoda, known as the "Sacred Light of the Pagoda," a once-in-a-millennium event. This extraordinary radiance symbolizes the Buddha's light of wisdom, capable of dispelling the darkness of all beings.
