Deeply engaged in the Gan Zhu investigation, yet hastily departed for the Ningdu Meeting. In August 1932, Mao Zedong received a notice to attend a Central Committee meeting in Ningdu and returned from Jigong Mountain in Nanfeng to the rear area. On August 29, he arrived in Gan Zhu and stayed at the Liu Family Ancestral Hall in Zhangjia'nao, Datian Village. The next morning, he convened a survey meeting with farmer representatives, listened to work reports from the responsible officials of the Nan-Guang County Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and the County Soviet Government, and gave a series of directives. This laid full groundwork for his participation in the Expanded Meeting of the Central Bureau of the Chinese Soviet Area (i.e., the "Ningdu Meeting"). Later, Mao Zedong was erroneously criticized and denounced by Wang Ming’s “Left” deviationist line, leading to the removal of his position as the Political Commissar of the Red Army. From then on, the “Left” deviationist errors further expanded and spread.
