A municipal cultural relic protection unit of the second batch in Fuzhou City. Located at the Feng Family Ancestral Hall in Xiaguan, Toutou Town, Guangchang County, it is a Qing Dynasty–era building. On the evening of April 28, 1934, the night Guangchang was abandoned, the Chinese Revolutionary Military Commission held a meeting here to review the lessons from the failure of the Battle of Guangchang and to discuss the next course of action. This was an important military meeting held during the Fifth Encirclement and Suppression Campaign, attended by cadres at the corps level and above of the Central Red Army. Key participants included: Bo Gu, Otto Braun (Li De), Zhu De, Gu Zuolin, and leaders of various corps such as Yang Shangkun, Lin Biao, Nie Rongzhen, Zuo Quan, Luo Binghui, Dong Zhentang, Cai Shufan, Li Zhuoran, and Wu Xiuquan. The meeting decided that the First Red Army Corps and the Ninth Red Army Corps would immediately move east to participate in the defense of Jianning, while the Third Red Army Corps would be deployed around Xin’an to block the southward advance of the Nationalist forces.
