The Gao Hunao Red Army Martyrs' Monument is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Gao Hunao Red Army Martyrs' Monument is located in Guanqiao Village, Yiqian Town, Guangchang County. The monument faces west and is built from brick, stone, and cement. It stands 11.6 meters tall and covers an area of 145.4 square meters. The monument was completed on August 5, 1988. The front inscription reads “Gao Hunao Red Army Martyrs' Monument,” which was inscribed by Yang Shangkun, then President of China. The left-side inscription reads: “Salute to the martyrs who fought tenaciously and bravely slew the enemy with honor in the Battle of Gao Hunao,” inscribed by Zhang Zhen, then Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission. The right-side inscription reads: “The Fierce Battle on the Eve of the Long March,” inscribed by Liu Zhijian, then President of the PLA Political Academy. The monument commemorates the Red Army soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the defensive battles in the Gao Hunao area in July and August 1934.
