Weixian Integrity Culture Park

The Weixian Diligence and Integrity Culture Park is located in the northern part of the county town. This unique park attracts numerous visitors with its captivating integrity-themed comics, refreshing integrity poems, and easy-to-understand integrity stories. With an investment of over 60 million yuan and covering an area of more than 800 acres, it serves as an ecological, mass-oriented integrity culture education base.

On the square at the west entrance of the park, relief pillars have been constructed depicting the deeds of six historical officials from Weixian known for their integrity and dedication to public service. The reliefs are richly illustrated, exquisitely crafted, and lifelike. Drawing inspiration from the names of famous ancient pavilions and considering the overall landscape of the park, six integrity culture pavilions have been built, including the Aiwan Pavilion, Ailian Pavilion, Hubin Pavilion, Taoran Pavilion, Fanghe Pavilion, and Cuiwei Pavilion. These are appropriately inscribed with famous ancient poems and maxims to educate Party members and cadres about integrity, modesty, diligence, and pragmatism. Six "Heart-Linking Bridges" have been erected over the park’s water surfaces, symbolizing the close bond between the Party and the people, reflecting the people-oriented and governance-for-the-people philosophy.

A 1,500-meter Integrity Culture Corridor has been built along the southern wall of the Diligence and Integrity Culture Park, comprising nine sections with over 300 comics: Integrity Quotations, Promoting Uprightness, Nipping Problems in the Bud, Integrity Riddles, Solidifying the Defense Line, Purging Evil with Clear Breezes, Eradicating Corruption and Evil, Keeping the Alarm Bell Ringing, and Integrity Poems. An inner lake called Qinxingyuan (Source of Diligent Governance), connected to the external water system, has been excavated within the park. Its crystal-clear waters carry the symbolic meaning of fairness and clarity, educating Party members and cadres to be upright and live honorably. At the center of the park’s inner lake, an Xiangxue Island (Fragrant Snow Island) has been created, featuring an ecological pear orchard. When spring arrives and flowers bloom, the island turns pure white and fills the air with fragrance, serving as a lesson in living with integrity.

Ponds have been dug in the park according to the terrain, planted with lotus roots, and adorned with famous lines such as “Emerging from the mud unsoiled, washing in clear ripples untainted,” encouraging visitors to admire the “lotus” and love “integrity” while enjoying the scenery. A 600-square-meter Integrity Culture Performance Stage has also been built in the park, and a number of Integrity Culture Stones engraved with maxims and warnings have been placed at the entrance and along pathways, creating a uniquely distinctive mass-oriented integrity culture education base.
