The former site of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission meeting in Xiaguan is located in Toupi Town, Guangchang County. On the evening of April 29, 1934, the Central Revolutionary Military Commission held a meeting here with key leaders of various army corps to discuss the operational plan against the Fifth Encirclement Campaign. Over twenty people attended, including Bo Gu, Zhu De, Gu Zuolin, Wu Xiuquan, Peng Dehuai, and Yang Shangkun. It was here that Peng Dehuai famously remarked, “A son may sell his father’s land without a qualm.” The building is a Qing Dynasty-era structure made of brick and wood, featuring an upper and lower hall, fireproof gables, and a recessed eight-character gate.
