The Former Site of the Red Fourth Army Command in Yiqian is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Former Site of the Red Fourth Army Command in Yiqian (Secretary Xi Qing’s Residence) is located in Yiqian Village, Yiqian Town, Guangchang County. During the intense battles on the eve of the Long March in July and August 1934, the command post of the Red Fourth Army was stationed here. On the polished brick walls on both sides of the residence’s entrance, there is a set of Red Army slogans, written with brushes of varying fineness dipped in ink. Currently, multiple Red Army slogans remain, including ones such as “Capture He Yingqin Alive.” The building faces east and is situated westward, with a brick-and-wood structure, covering an area of 594 square meters.

The Former Site of the Red Fourth Army Command in Yiqian (Yunqu Hall) is located in Yiqian Village, Yiqian Town, Guangchang County. Also known as the Double-Gate Building, it faces east and is situated westward, with a brick-and-wood structure. It is a Qing Dynasty building covering an area of 403 square meters. Its grand, eight-character-style entrance gate and the screen wall inlaid with exquisitely patterned diamond-shaped water-ground stones are refined and elegant. The stone door knockers are carved with stories such as the “Qilin Bringing a Son” and various figures. In July and August 1934, during the fierce battles between the Red Army and the Kuomintang, command posts were successively established here. Existing ink inscriptions include “The World Belongs to All.”

The Former Site of the Red Fourth Army Command in Yiqian (Yingxun Residence Red Army Slogans) is located in Yiqian Village, Yiqian Town, Guangchang County. The main structure faces northeast and is situated southwestward, covering an area of 379.4 square meters. There are multiple Red Army slogans, one of which is a large slogan reading “In the Red Army, officers, soldiers, and laborers receive the same pay, food, and clothing — while in the enemy camp, generals, officers, and soldiers live and eat differently.” The content is neatly antithetical and relatively rare in our province. It played a significant role in politically agitating and propaganda efforts at the time to undermine local enemy forces, weaken enemy morale, win over revolutionary forces, and boost the morale of the Red Army.
