Dezheng Town: Dezheng Town (Dezheng Zhen) is situated in the southeastern part of Wei County, Hebei Province, about 6 kilometers from the county seat. It covers an area of 24 square kilometers and had a population of 22,800 in 2002. The town administers 17 administrative villages, with the town government located in De’er Village. The Wei (County)–Da (Ming) and Wei (County)–Zhang (Erzhuang) highways pass through the area. The town focuses on developing its vegetable industry, encouraging farmers to expand vegetable production through financial support, policy incentives, introduction of new varieties, promotion of new technologies, and competitions for top vegetable growers.
