Tiaoquan Pit

Located 4 kilometers south of the town on the western bank of the Yi River, surrounded by towering mountains and dense underbrush, there lies a small stream. Its water originates from the cliffs and ridges of the mountains, meandering down to the entrance of Xiayuan Village where it merges with the stream from Xiazhuang. It then flows straight down through a long, narrow valley between two mountains, cascading down over 10 steep cliffs in a series of waterfalls, before continuing for about 2 li to reach a small pool, then flowing gently for over 10 meters before joining the Jiguanyan Reservoir. The pit is flanked by thick vines and dense trees that block out the sunlight, creating a chilly and secluded atmosphere.
