“Guanjia Hall” (Luo Family Courtyard): The Luo Family Courtyard is a Qing Dynasty–era structure notable for its large scale, exquisite craftsmanship, and distinctive regional characteristics. Its bracket sets (dougong) and crescent beams (yueliang) feature unique construction methods, often adorned with religious motifs. The building follows a clear central axis, with rooms symmetrically arranged along both sides. It employs massive construction materials, including a single piece of long bluestone measuring 9 meters, acclaimed as the longest bluestone used in any residential building in southern China. Given that it was entirely transported manually at the time, the feat was extraordinarily challenging. Legend has it that moving the huge stone from a distant location to Tangyin cost the equivalent of one gold bar just in transportation fees.
