The Former Site of the First Front Army Headquarters in Dongbei is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province and a classic red tourism destination.

Former Site of the Combat Headquarters of the First Front Army:

Located at the entrance of Huangbailing Village in Dongbei Town, inside the "Xu Family Ancestral Hall." The site covers an area of over 1,000 square meters and consists of upper and lower halls. Scattered throughout the ancestral hall are numerous Red Army relics and historical traces. In late March 1933, the combat headquarters of the First Front Army during the famous Dongbei Battle of the Fourth Counter-Encirclement Campaign of the Central Soviet Area was stationed here. A military meeting attended by senior officials was held, and Comrade Zhu De was present.

To commemorate the Dongbei Battle, the county and township governments of Yihuang raised over 100,000 yuan to comprehensively renovate the former site of the First Front Army Combat Headquarters. In early 2006, the site was approved as a Patriotic Education Base by the CPC Fuzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal People's Government.
