The Guodi Mountain Site is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Guodi Mountain Site is a settlement cluster dating from the Late Neolithic to the Shang and Zhou periods. It is a representative site for understanding the distribution patterns, cultural characteristics, and functional layouts of moat-surrounded settlement clusters. It serves as valuable physical evidence for establishing the pre-Qin chronological sequence of the Fu River basin, clarifying the developmental trajectory and temporal boundaries of the Fanchengdui culture, and provides new perspectives for re-evaluating the cultural features of Jiangxi and southern China during the pre-Qin era, facilitating deeper research into the diverse yet unified nature of early Chinese civilization and advancing studies on regional civilization models in early China. It holds important historical and archaeological significance.

In 2019, the Guodi Mountain Site was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
