Shang Shizi Bridge

Shang Shizi Bridge is located at Xiajietou, the village committee office of Tanbu, Tanbu Town, Wanzai County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. It is a four-pier, five-arch stone bridge running north-south, spanning the main river of Wanzai—Shu River. Because there are two closely arranged stone arch bridges in the upper and lower sections, and each end of the bridge is adorned with two pairs of stone lions, it is called the Upper and Lower Shizi Bridges. The bridge is 82 meters long, 5.3 meters wide, and has a deck area of 434.6 square meters. According to the Wanzai County Annals, it was first built during the Yuandade era. Originally, it served as an important route from Tanbu to Lingdong and the county town. Due to the rerouting of highways, the bridge is now only used by nearby villagers.
