Yangcheng Bridge

Also known as Liuyi Bridge, Yangcheng Bridge was built by Ouyang Cheng of the Ming Dynasty, who was referred to as "Liuyi Gong" (Six-One Lord), hence the bridge's name.

The bridge is situated 300 meters southeast of Baishui Township and 56 kilometers northwest of the county seat. According to the 1940 edition of the Wanzi County Annals, it was built in the 16th year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1537 AD). It collapsed in both the 13th and 60th years of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty. In the 6th year of the Jiaqing reign (1801 AD), Ouyang Tai, a descendant of Ouyang Cheng, oversaw its reconstruction.

The bridge features two piers and three arches, constructed from bluestone. It is 29 meters long, 5 meters wide, and 5.6 meters high overall. The bridge deck includes a sidewalk, with stone railings on both sides and drip holes carved to prevent rainwater from running down the sidewalls. The abutments at either end are 6 meters high with foundations 2 meters thick, all built from bluestone slabs measuring 0.8 meters in length and 3 meters in width. The single-pointed boat-shaped piers are 3.26 meters high, and the arch crowns consist of nine individual segmented arches.
