Zhushan Cave Cliff Carvings
The Zhushan Cave stone carvings are located at the entrance of Zhushan Cave in Dongkou Village Committee, Mabu Township, Wanzi County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. Zhushan Cave is a karst cave stretching nearly four thousand meters in length. The carvings are situated inside the northern cave entrance and consist of three inscriptions: “Zhushan Ancient Cave,” a horizontally written, raised relief inscription in regular script, measuring approximately 2.5 meters in length and 1 meter in height, inscribed in the 29th year of the Republic of China; “Yinggan Qianxin” (Introspection Stirred by Response), a horizontally written, raised relief inscription in seal script, about 2 meters long and 0.6 meters wide, inscribed during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty; and “Enze Wanmin” (Blessings for All People), a horizontally written, raised relief inscription in regular script, roughly 2 meters long and 1 meter wide, with unknown date and author.
