The Ningdu Uprising Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism destination.

The Ningdu County Uprising Memorial Hall is located on Zhongshan Road in Ningdu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province.

Established in 1975 to commemorate the 26th Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army, which joined the Red Army during the Ningdu Uprising on December 14, 1931, the Ningdu Uprising Memorial Hall initially shared office space with the then Ningdu County Revolutionary History Memorial Hall. In 1980, the Ningdu County Revolutionary History Memorial Hall was renamed the Ningdu County Museum, after which both institutions continued to share the same location under two separate names but with unified staffing.

The site is the former headquarters of the Ningdu Uprising, a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. Originally the residence of a Christian pastor, the building is a two-story Western-style brick-and-wood structure divided into front and back sections. It covers a land area of 356.35 square meters and has a floor area of 678.9 square meters.

The main exhibition is titled “The History of the Ningdu Uprising.” On the first floor of the main building, there are 54 display panels, 5 display cases, and 1 sand table. The second floor features exhibits related to Zhao Boseng’s bedroom — a secret Communist Party member, Chief of Staff of the 26th Route Army Headquarters, and a key leader of the Ningdu Uprising — as well as the banquet room where he announced the uprising to officers at the rank of regiment and above.

The museum is open from Monday to Saturday each week, except under special circumstances. Its daily opening hours follow the working schedule of local government administrative offices. The annual average number of visitors is 35,000.
