The Central Soviet Area Anti-“Encirclement and Suppression” Campaign War Memorial is a classic red tourism destination.

The Ningdu County Central Soviet Area Anti-“Encirclement and Suppression” Campaign War Memorial is situated in the urban area of Ningdu County. It covers a site area of 240 mu, has a building area of 5,855 square meters, an exhibition space of 3,450 square meters, and an exhibition route of 860 meters. It is the only military memorial in China that reflects the five anti-“encirclement and suppression” campaigns of the Central Soviet Area. In February 2009, it was designated as a Fourth Batch Patriotic Education Base of Jiangxi Province. To date, it has welcomed over 2 million visitors from all walks of life free of charge, and has increasingly become an important venue for patriotic education and revolutionary tradition education at the municipal, provincial, and even national levels.
