Xingjiao Palace

Xingjiao Palace is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Xingjiao Palace is located in Shanggong Natural Village, Xingshan Village, Youyang Town, Xianyou County. It faces west and consists of a lower hall, side corridors, and an upper hall. The complex covers an area of 269 square meters. The lower hall has five bays in width and three pillars in depth, featuring a post-and-lintel structure with a flush gable roof; the upper hall also has five bays in width and four pillars in depth, with a mixed wooden frame of post-and-lintel and through-tenon construction. The stone pillars in the palace are melon-shaped, and the stone bases are lotus-petal inverted in form, all made from thick, sturdy materials dating back to the Song Dynasty. Xingjiao Palace was designated as a Fujian Provincial Cultural Heritage Site in 2013.

Xingshan Village: Xingshan Village is located in the southeastern part of Youyang Town, approximately 15 kilometers from the town government. With an average elevation of 650 meters, it is the birthplace of the first grassroots Party organization in Xianyou County and is recognized as a provincially designated revolutionary base village. The administrative area spans 5.7 square kilometers, and the village comprises nine natural villages (Shanggong, Xiagong, Shantou, Zhending, Yangshan, Neichi, Waichi, Yuankou, Panxie, and Meilin). The area includes one primary school, several clinics, and the Xingjiao Ancestral Palace (a provincial-level cultural heritage site).
