The Lin Clan Ancestral Hall in the City is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Lin Clan Ancestral Hall in the City is located at No. 31, Jichuan Lane, Xianyou County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Originally built in the third year of the Zhenghe era of the Song Dynasty (1113), it was reconstructed during the Qing Dynasty. It faces south (slightly west) and has a total width of 39.72 meters and a total depth of 36.06 meters, covering a construction area of 1,432.30 square meters. Along the central axis are, in sequence, the front hall, courtyard, left and right side corridors, main hall, and left and right wing rooms. The front hall is five bays wide and fifteen rafters deep, with a flush gable roof and a post-and-lintel wooden structure combining raised beams and interlocking brackets. The main hall is also five bays wide and eighteen rafters deep, with a flush gable roof and a mixed post-and-lintel wooden frame of raised beams and interlocking brackets. The wooden pillars, beams, and brackets throughout the building are made from large-sized materials. Both wing rooms are eight bays wide, each featuring four small courtyards. In total, there are nine courtyards—both large and small—with the large central courtyard measuring 9.36 meters in length and 12.34 meters in width.

Protected area: The building is surrounded by a buffer zone extending 20 meters outward on all sides.

In 2018, the Lin Clan Ancestral Hall in the City was designated as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Fujian Province.
