Yangsi Palace in Jianshan is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Yangsi Palace in Jianshan is located in Jianshan Village, Duiwei Town, Xianyou County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Also known as Jinfeng Altar, it was first built in the 45th year of the Qianlong reign (1780) during the Qing Dynasty and renovated in the 22nd year of the Daoguang reign (1842). It faces west with its back to the east, has a total width of 9.3 meters and a depth of 18.6 meters, covering an area of 172.98 square meters. It is a single-courtyard corridor-style building. Along the central axis are, in sequence, the front hall, courtyard, side corridors on the left and right, and the main hall. The front hall is three bays wide and five rafters deep; the main hall is three bays wide and eleven rafters deep, featuring a mixed post-and-lintel and bracket-arm wooden structure with a gable and hip roof. The stone pillars, stone doors, and corner pillars on the walls inside the palace are carved with bas-reliefs of dragons, flowers and birds, figures, pavilions, and towers.

Protected area: An extension of 20 meters outward in all directions around the building.

In 2018, Yangsi Palace in Jianshan was announced by the People’s Government of Fujian Province as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

Jianshan Village: Jianshan Village is an administrative village under Duiwei Town, Xianyou County, Putian City. It is located in the western part of Duiwei Town, bordering five other villages. To the east is Yangban, to the west is Pubei, to the south is Yunshui, to the southeast is Zhongyue, and to the north is Xiaxe. The Xianyong Highway runs through the village, and three streams flow across it.

[Village and Residents] Jianshan Village covers an area of 8.5 square kilometers, with a current population of 4,732 people, 1,240 households, five natural villages, and 26 villager groups. Resident surnames include Yang, Chen, Hu, Guo, Liu, Lu, among others. Ethnic groups: Han and Hui.
