The Site of the Yilu Battle is a classic red tourism destination.

The Site of the Yilu Battle is located in Hounin, Yilu Village, Yuanzhuang Town, Xianyou County, Putian City.

In July 1949, the Hui'an guerrilla unit was transporting a batch of firearms through Xianyou's Cixiao to the Minzhong Detachment Headquarters in Dayang when they were pursued by Kuomintang troops and plainclothes agents. The Cixiao guerrillas cooperated with the Hui'an guerrillas and jointly repelled the enemy’s pursuit in Yilu Village, successfully completing the mission of escorting the firearms.

Yilu Village: Yilu Village is located 4.6 kilometers south of the Yuanzhuang Town government seat. The village committee is based in Yilu. The settlement has an irregular block shape and consists of natural villages including Shuxia, Lounei, Xinei, Dingcuo, Zaili, Xiacao, Banling, Chihou, Neitou, Tulou, Chalin, Xincao, Jiucuo, Datang, Chaiping, Cuowei, Nanban, Dakoulu, Xiaokoulu, and Hounin. It comprises 20 villager groups with 596 households and a population of 2,546. During the Republican era, it belonged to Hui'an County; from March 1955 to June 1956, it was part of Yuanzhuang District; in July 1956, it was placed under Fengting District; and in 1958, during the people's commune period...
