The Site of the Yujing Palace Mass Meeting is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Site of the Yujing Palace Mass Meeting is located in Qiancuo Natural Village, Yangwei Village, Yuanzhuang Town, Xianyou County, Putian City.

In early 1949, Liu Zuozhou, Secretary of the Xiande Working Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, and others carried out activities in the Cixiao area, liaising with poor peasants, organizing and mobilizing progressive masses, recruiting party members from among them, establishing armed forces, and reviving revolutionary struggles in the region. In mid-February of the same year, the Xiande Working Committee of the CCP deployed efforts to resist the “Three Levies” (conscription, grain requisition, and taxation). Liu Zuozhou and others held a mass meeting at Yujing Palace in Yangwei Village, Cixiao, rallying the people to join the struggle against conscription, grain levies, and taxes, sparking a wave of resistance to the “Three Levies.”

The Site of the Yujing Palace Mass Meeting is a single-story brick-concrete temple structure with a floor area of 120 square meters.

Yangwei Village: Yangwei Village is located 2.9 kilometers west of the seat of Yuanzhuang Town Government. The village committee is based in Yangwei. The settlement is shaped like a V and consists of natural villages including Houlou, Zhentou, Mayangpu, Matou, Dingcuo, Houxin, Houcuo, Qiancuo, and Gongwei. It has nine villager groups, with 589 households and a population of 2,128. During the Republican era, it belonged to Cixiao Township; in 1950, it was part of the Third District; in 1951, the Twelfth District; in 1956, the Fengting District; in 1958, it became Yangwei Brigade under the commune system; and in 1984, it was established as Yangwei Village Committee.
