The former site of the CPC Xiuyan South District Branch is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the CPC Xiuyan South District Branch is located in Xiating Natural Village, Luofeng Village, Laidian Town, Xiuyan County, Putian City.

In the late autumn of 1927, after Chen Guozhu developed three CPC members in the southern district of Xiuyan County—Fu Ziyao (alias Zheng Xing), Fu Xinrong, a teacher at Luoshan Academy in Laidian, and Fu Xinchí, a local resident—he established the CPC Xiuyan South District Branch at Luoshan Academy, with Fu Ziyao serving as the branch secretary. During the period of the Great Revolution, when the main task was resisting levies, Luoshan Academy became the activity base of the CPC South District Branch. Later, revolutionary base villages such as Xiating in Luofeng and Dongpu in Yuta were also established, along with underground communication stations. More than ten key figures and cadres of the underground CPC organizations in Putian and Xiuyan, including Chen Guozhu, Guo Shouluan, Lin Zhi, Qiu Rongquan, Zhang Zhaohan, Luo Yingxiang, Xu Yuqing, Su Hua, Lin Buyun, Fu Naichao, Fu Qiyu, and Zhang Yuanbao, successively came to Luoshan Academy to hide and secretly carry out revolutionary activities, promoting the development of the revolution in Xiuyan. Fu Yuanxiang, the principal of Luoshan Academy, also joined the CPC and, during the Anti-Japanese War, organized teachers and students to conduct anti-Japanese salvation propaganda and campaigns against Japanese goods.

The former site of the CPC Xiuyan South District Branch is Luoshan Academy, which has now been rebuilt as Laidian Central Primary School. The new teaching building is a four-story brick-concrete structure covering an area of 110 square meters. In December 2011, the Party History Research Office of the Putian Municipal Committee provided a plaque for its protection.
