The former site of the Yangzhai Transport Station is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the Yangzhai Transport Station is located in the Keting Natural Village, Yanggu Village, Yaowei Town, Xianyou County, Putian City.

After the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan, revolutionary forces in the Xianyou area were relatively weak. In order to quickly restore the Party organization in Xianyou, the Central Fujian Special Committee of the Communist Party of China dispatched Huang Guozhen as a special commissioner to guide work in Xianyou. Upon arriving in Xianyou, Huang contacted progressive youth, established a revolutionary liaison station, and developed revolutionary forces. In October 1946, Huang Guozhen went deep into Yangzhai Village, Yaowei, Xianyou to carry out work. He set up a transport station at the Yang ancestral hall in the home of Yang Qitang, connecting the three counties of Putian, Xianyou, and Hui’an. The station was responsible for liaising with comrades engaged in underground revolutionary work, contacting revolutionary masses, delivering intelligence, and other activities.

The former site of the Yangzhai Transport Station is a Yang family ancestral hall, a single-story brick-and-wood structure covering an area of 220 square meters. The Party History Research Office of the Putian Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China granted it protected status in December 2011.

Yanggu Village: Yanggu Village

Located in the southern part of Yaowei Town. National Highway 324 passes through the village. It borders Fengting Town to the south, Rancao to the west, Xinhe and Shaxi to the east, and is adjacent to the Yaowei Street Neighborhood Committee to the north. During the Ning period, it was called Yanggu Li, and the village took its name from the li. In the Ming Dynasty, due to the settlement of the Yang family, it came to be called Yangzhai, coexisting with the name Yanggu. It was divided into two villages: Yangzhai and Guanlin. During the Republican period, it was called Yanggu Bao and belonged to Xiangtian Town. In June 1956, it merged with Shaxi, Xinhe, and Rancao to form the Yanggu Brigade.
