The Former Site of the Yushan Shrine, Headquarters of the Xiande Guerrilla Unit, is a cultural heritage site protected by Xianyou County and a classic red tourism destination.

The Former Site of the Yushan Shrine, Headquarters of the Xiande Guerrilla Unit, is located in Qigan Natural Village, Wangcuo Village, Bangtou Town, Xianyou County, Putian City.

On the eve of the liberation of Xianyou in August 1949, the Xiande Guerrilla Unit and the - Group were stationed at the Yushan Shrine in Bangtou Town by order of their superiors. During this period, the CPC Xiande Working Committee provided training to the guerrilla forces, organized study sessions on the "Three Main Rules of Discipline and the Eight Points for Attention," and announced the rules for entering the city. On August 25, the Xiande Guerrilla Unit received orders to march into the county seat to join forces with the Yongde-Xian-Xian People’s Guerrilla Unit, led by Liu Zuozhou, Secretary of the Xiande Working Committee. They entered the county town in a grand procession to take over governance, and Xianyou was thereby liberated.

The Former Site of the Yushan Shrine, Headquarters of the Xiande Guerrilla Unit, originally named Yunshan Shrine, was built in 1600 (the 28th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty) at Wukuntou (now Guangpu Village, Bangtou Town) and relocated to its current site in 1605 (the 33rd year of the Wanli reign). In October 1979, the Prince Hall was rebuilt, the side wings were expanded in May 1986, and the Guanyin Hall was reconstructed in August 1988. The site covers an area of 2,000 square meters.

The former headquarters site of the Xiande Guerrilla Unit was designated as a cultural heritage site of Xianyou County by the Xianyou County People’s Government in December 1984.
