The former site of the Oucuo Transport Station is located at No. 9, Oucuo, Baxia Village, Bangtou Town, Xianyou County, Putian City.

After the establishment of the Daiyun Column in April 1947, the Putian Party organization sent Lin Huanzhang and Lin Jinying to lead over 30 new recruits from Zhongmen on the coastal area of Putian, passing through Shanwei to enter Xianyou. The CCP Xianyou County Working Committee arranged for these new recruits to spend the night at the Oucuo Transport Station in Baxia, East Township. However, because the courier did not follow the instructions of the County Working Committee and brought these people to the Oucuo Transport Station ahead of time, the target was exposed. The Kuomintang Xianyou County authorities immediately gathered over 100 security team members, plainclothes officers, and others, preparing to launch a surprise night raid and encirclement. Fortunately, the guerrillas received intelligence in advance. Ou Chenglong, Deputy Secretary of the Xianyou County Working Committee, secretly moved the guerrilla members under the cover of darkness to a village opposite the Oucuo Transport Station, hiding them in the wheat fields. Around 21:00 that night, the puppet security team and plainclothes officers divided into two routes and, with the assistance of local township officers from Lanxi Township, surrounded Oucuo. After searching for over an hour, they returned empty-handed. Ou Chenglong immediately led the guerrilla members to quickly relocate, crossing the Heling Pass and arriving at Shanghubi in Linshui Village, Zhongshan, Zhongshan, where they successfully made contact with the main force of the Daiyun Column, thereby smoothly completing the transport mission.

The search and raid on the Oucuo Transport Station yielded nothing, and the Kuomintang county government, unwilling to accept failure, sent the security team the next day to the homes of Lin Buyun and Ou Chenglong in East Township, arresting everyone in both households regardless of age — a total of 8 people were detained, including children as young as three or four years old. They were subjected to severe torture without limit. “They were detained for five months. The Lin and Ou families had no choice but to sell all their possessions to ransom their family members…” Due to the serious persecution by the Kuomintang authorities, most of the transport stations established by the CCP Xianyou County Working Committee in East Township were destroyed.

The former site of the Oucuo Transport Station is an ancient civilian residence of the Ouyang family. It is a single-story structure with earthen walls, consisting of three rooms and covering an area of 80 square meters. It is currently in relatively poor condition. The Party History Research Office of the Putian Municipal Committee of the CCP provided it with a protected status plaque in December 2011.
