The former site of the Changbakqiao Liaison Station is located in Changbakqiao Natural Village, Gengfeng Village, Fengting Town, Xianyou County, Putian City.

The "Guangpu Incident" in Bangtou in October 1947 led to the destruction of the Xianyou County Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and various district transportation and liaison stations due to betrayal by a traitor. Given the severe situation at the time, the Central Fujian Committee of the CCP instructed the unarrested individual members of the Xianyou County Committee to immediately break up into smaller units and shift to underground struggle. In the second half of 1948, Liu Zuozhou, head of the Xianyou County Committee of the CCP, following instructions from the Central Fujian Committee, first mobilized the masses in the Fengting area and restored grassroots organizations by establishing underground liaison stations. Soon after, a liaison station was set up in Changbakqiao, Gengfeng Village, Fengting Town, facilitating underground struggles across Hui’an, Xianyou, and Putian counties. It recruited progressive farmer activists to join the revolutionary cause, strengthening the Xianyou Party organization and contributing significantly to the revolutionary movement in Xianyou.

The former site of the Changbakqiao Liaison Station is a single-story, single-room civil structure made of earth and wood, covering an area of 38 square meters. In December 2011, the Party History Research Office of the Putian Municipal Committee designated it for protected status.

Gengfeng Village: Overview of Gengfeng Village

[Administrative Affiliation and Transportation Location] Gengfeng Village is located at the southern end of Fengting Town, 3 kilometers from the town center. It borders Xiufeng Village to the east, the Shuoshi Community to the west, Cangcuo Natural Village in Jieshan Town, Quangang District to the south, and Xindian in the Shuoshi Community to the north.

[Village and Residents] The village covers a total area of 3.8 square kilometers, with 600 mu of arable land and 160 mu of orchards. It includes 9 natural villages, 12 villager groups, 518 households, and a total population of over 2,500.
