The former site of the Xuxiang Liaison Station is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the Xuxiang Liaison Station is located at No. 9, Xuxiang, Ximenkou, Hongqiao Community, Licheng Subdistrict, Xianyou County, Putian City.

Between 1930 and March 1934, leaders of the CPC and Communist Youth League organizations in Xianyou, including comrades Qiu Rongquan, Luo Yingxiang, Zhang Zhaohan, Lin Zhi, Yu Guang, and Pan Tao, often met secretly at the Xuxiang Liaison Station to ——, discuss work, and carry out activities. The liaison station was set up in the home of Xu Yuqing. Xu Yuqing (1913.1–1996.2) joined the revolution in July 1930, became a member of the Communist Youth League in January 1932, and was converted to full party membership in September of the same year. He served as Secretary of the Xianyou Special Branch of the Communist Youth League. In early 1934, Luo Yingxiang, Xu Yuqing, and others went deep into rural areas to mobilize the masses and launch struggles against hunger. They held a mass meeting at Dingyang Ancestral Hall in Xiashan Village, Yuanzhuang, but the venue was disrupted by local armed forces, forcing the meeting to be aborted. In April 1934, due to betrayal, the CPC and CYL organizations in both Putian and Xianyou were successively dismantled. Xu Yuqing was forced to leave Xianyou and went to Malaysia. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance in 1937, he returned to China and joined the New Fourth Army’s Second Column, heading north to fight in the war.

The former site of the Xuxiang Liaison Station is a single-story civil structure made of earth and wood, consisting of upper and lower halls with a total of eight rooms, covering an area of 310 square meters. In December 2011, the Party History Research Office of the Putian Municipal Committee designated it as a protected historical site.
