The former site of the Wuzuo Cottage Transport Station is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the Wuzuo Cottage Transport Station is located in Wuzuo Cottage Natural Village, Weiban Village, Daji Town, Xianyou County, Putian City.

In the spring of 1943, the Fujian Southern Special Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, in order to strengthen communication between party organizations in central Fujian counties and prepare for the provincial committee’s relocation southward into central Fujian, sent Fu Debiao to establish an activity base in the western part of Xianyou. First, a transport station was established at the home of Chen Yao in Wuzuo Cottage, Weiban Village, Shanhua (now Daji), followed by the development of two additional contact points in Sanhui and Xianmen (i.e., Batou), thus opening up a communication route connecting Putian, Xianyou, Yongchun, and Dehua. This laid a solid mass foundation for the southern relocation of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CCP into central Fujian.

The former site of the Wuzuo Cottage Transport Station is a single-story civil structure built with earth and wood, covering an area of 110 square meters. The History Research Office of the Putian Municipal Committee of the CCP provided signage for its protection in December 2011.

Weiban Village: Weiban Village is located in the northwest of Daji Town, bordering Kengbei and Pushan Villages across a stream to the east, connecting to Wushi and Longxi to the west, adjacent to Daji Village to the south, and neighboring Fenyang Village to the north. It lies within a hilly region. The Xilai Mountain in the northwest marks the boundary with Duanwei Town. The Xianyong Highway runs through the southern part of the village. The village has a total of 2,000 mu of arable land and 5,000 mu of sloping land (including forest and fruit orchards). It administers ten natural villages: Bantou, Batou, Zaili, Dahua, Qilong, Xintian, Dingwu, Shancen, Wucuo, and Donghua, as well as 20 villager groups.
