Former Site of the Pushan Liaison Station

The former site of the Pushan Liaison Station is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the Pushan Liaison Station is located in Guokeng Natural Village, Pushan Village, Daji Town, Xianyou County, Putian City.

Pushan Village in Daji Town, Xianyou County, is remote and has poor transportation, which was conducive to the underground party organization carrying out covert struggles. The Xianyou Party organization established a secret liaison station at the home of Lin Shujin in the village. In 1949, Liu Zongfu, who returned from Fuzhou to Xianyou to carry out revolutionary work, fell seriously ill. He was arranged by the organization to stay at the Pushan Liaison Station for medical treatment in hiding, and was later transferred to the Dongling Liaison Station. After recovering, he returned to the Xunde Guerrilla Unit to continue the revolutionary struggle until liberation.

The former site of the Pushan Liaison Station is a single-story civil house with an earth-and-wood structure, consisting of one room and one hall, covering an area of 70 square meters. The Party History Research Office of the Putian Municipal Committee of the CPC provided a plaque for its protection in December 2011.

Pushan Village: Pushan Village is located in the northeastern part of Daji Town. To the east, it faces Shancen across a stream; to the west is Kengbei; to the south, it borders Sisi of Shancen and Sucuo of Daji; and to the north, it connects with Pufeng. In 2010, the village had a total of 1,087 households and 4,175 residents, including 2,126 males and 2,049 females. It has 900 mu of arable land, 500 mu of sloping land, and 40 mu of forested area. It includes three neighborhood units: Houfeng, Guofang, and Diantou, with 16 villager groups and 196 residents working outside the village.
