Putian Jiulong Valley is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Putian Jiulong Valley scenic area is located in Junan Village, Juxi Town, Chengxiang District, Putian City, at an altitude of 717 meters. It features a subtropical marine monsoon climate, with no intense heat in summer, no severe cold in winter, mild temperatures year-round, and frequent rainfall. The Dakeng Stream within the scenic area is the lower reaches of Jiuli Lake, also known as "Lower Jiuli." The area is an ecological scenic zone that integrates both natural and cultural landscapes, including blue skies, waterfalls, deep pools, dense forests, peculiar rocks, secluded caves, cliff inscriptions, temples, and more.

The scenic area is 32 kilometers from downtown Putian. Traveling along the Dongzhen Reservoir ring road, visitors are greeted with fragrant flowers and fruits, and picturesque scenery. Covering an area of 15 square kilometers, the area features undulating peaks, lush forests, shaded skies, intertwined ancient vines, the majestic Wutai Waterfall with its glistening droplets, thrilling rafting along the stream, unique peaks, beautiful rocks, and clear springs in serene surroundings. Visitors can play in Lovers' Pool, boat on Heart-Linked Lake, and enjoy the harmonious blend of green mountains and clear waters, with breathtaking lake and mountain views. Activities such as climbing cliffs, exploring hidden spots, visiting the deer park, and enjoying the wilderness make it a natural ecological scenic area ideal for sightseeing, leisure vacations, and fitness activities.
