Shouxi Park is located within the former "Shouxi Fishing Boat" scenic area, one of the original "Twenty-Four Scenic Spots of Putian," and serves as a flood detention area for the Dongzhen Reservoir. Characterized by its lychee orchards, stream views, riverside promenades, and natural scenery, it is ideal for public leisure, entertainment, sightseeing, and sports.

Shouxi Park is the longest park in Putian and boasts a quite pleasant environment, making it one of the popular spots for wedding photography. A red running track becomes a pathway for people to jog and exercise during ordinary evenings.

The park is planned around the themes of "clear streams, green islets, ancient bridges, red lychees, farmland, and rural charm," reflecting ecological principles, leisure, and harmony between humans and nature. The park's layout consists of eight themed functional areas: the Shouxi Fishing Boat Scenic Area, Folk Culture Area, Riverside Vitality Landscape Area, Mountain Culture Area, Leisure Orchard Area, Ecological Educational Area, Recreational Area, and Lychee Isle Landscape Area. As a Putian ecological zone defined by its lychee orchards, stream views, riverside promenades, and natural scenery, it serves as an urban park for public leisure, entertainment, sightseeing, and sports. Considered the longest park in Putian, Shouxi Park offers a fresh and elegant environment, featuring the quaint Yanshou Bridge and the much-loved national first-class ancient tree — the "Red Lychee."
