The former site of the Shamen Branch of the CPC in Putian is a classic red tourism destination.

The former site of the Shamen Branch of the CPC in Putian is located in Xincuo, Shamen Village, Chantai Town, Chengxiang District, Putian City.

In June 1926, Lin Fengchi joined the Communist Party of China while studying at Zheli Middle School. Later, dispatched by the Party organization, he used weekends to return to his hometown of Chantai to carry out activities, develop the organization, and secretly recruit seven members—Lin Kui, Lin Chu, Lin Lie, Lin Yue, Chen Bai, Zhong Jinguì, and Lin Zhenxiang—into the Communist Party in Shamen Village. In October of the same year, the Shamen Branch of the CPC in Putian was established, becoming one of the first rural Party branches in Putian, with Lin Fengchi serving as the branch secretary. After its establishment, the branch actively mobilized and engaged the masses across Chantai, successively setting up peasant associations in three townships—Shamen, Malong, and Weiyang—and carrying out vigorous revolutionary activities.

The former site of the Shamen Branch of the CPC in Putian is a single-story civil structure made of earth and wood, facing south with its back to the north. Due to years of disrepair, the left wing room has collapsed. The site covers an area of 100 square meters.
