The Site of the Military Meeting in Jichuan, Changtai is located in Jichuan Natural Village, Mawu Village, Changtai Town, Chengxiang District, Putian City.

In October 1933, the CPC Putian County Committee sent comrades including Zheng Jinzhao and Weng Hongtang to continue revolutionary activities in areas such as Jichuan, Jinzhukeng, and Waikeng in Changtai. They spread revolutionary ideas among the peasants, trained revolutionary cadres such as Chen Jinping, and organized peasant teams to carry out underground activities. In the spring of 1934, a military meeting was held in Jichuan, chaired by Pan Tao, with participants including Zheng Jinzhao, Weng Hongtang, Fang Ziming, Chen Jinping, Qiu Ziguo, Huang Guozhang, and Huang Ming. The meeting focused on launching guerrilla armed struggle in Changtai and establishing a base area. After the meeting, in order to expand the team and acquire weapons and ammunition to strengthen combat effectiveness, the county committee assigned Chen Jianxin and Weng Hongtang to Waikeng to recruit the progressive young student Lei Guangxi to join the revolution. After being mobilized and educated by Chen Jianxin and others, Lei Guangxi resolutely joined the revolution. The Party organization used these weapons and ammunition to form a peasant armed force of over ten people in Changtai. In December of the same year, Zheng Jinzhao and Pan Tao led the Putian guerrilla unit, in coordination with the local peasant armed forces, to disguise themselves and launch a surprise attack on the garrison of the town office in Fengyetang, Changtai. They captured more than 20 rifles, marking the first battle of the three-year guerrilla war in central Fujian.

The former site of the military meeting in Jichuan, Changtai has been destroyed by mountain floods. The former site of the Fengyetang town office is located near the Changtai Town government but was submerged due to the construction of the Dongzhen Reservoir.

Mawu Village: Mawu Village is located in the northern part of Changtai Town, covering an area of 8 square kilometers. It currently has 268 mu of arable land, over 12,600 mu of mountainous land, a total population of over 1,150 people, and more than 245 households. The village is divided into 2 natural villages and 7 villager groups. There is one Party branch with 63 Party members.

The main economic crops include forestry and fruit trees. The primary sources of income are business and labor wages from working away from home, particularly through migrant labor. In 2012, the per capita income of villagers reached over 7,000 yuan.
