Golden Hill and Emerald Bay

Emerald Bay

Located in the Golden Hill scenic area, the approximately 6km-long Emerald Bay in the upper reaches of the Huotong River is a stretch of emerald water nestled between towering cliffs. The cliffs on both sides rise hundreds of feet high, and the winding stream narrows to just 10 meters in width at some points, while opening up to about 25 meters in wider sections. The water is crystal-clear and jade-green, appearing bottomless.
