The Shuiyun Jiudu Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

The "Shuiyun Jiudu" Water Conservancy Scenic Area spans Fuyao Village, Jiuxian Village, Yunqi Village, Guicun Village, Yang'anban Village, Jiudu Village, Wukeng Village, and Xibian Village, covering a total area of 53 square kilometers. It features six important scenic areas, including the Guicun Scenic Area and the Wuzhitan Scenic Area. Centered around the Huotongxi River—the "mother river" of Ningde City—attractions are distributed along both banks of the winding river, where the water ripples and murmurs softly. The gentle beauty of the water’s surface and the dynamic flow of space leave visitors enchanted.

The scenic area boasts rich geomorphological landscapes. Guicun Village has a century-old ferry terminal, ancient residences, clusters of ancient banyan trees, the Wenchang Pavilion, the Bat Cave, and the Lüyou Garden. Yunqi Village features Wuzhitan and maple forests. Fuyao Village offers a flood control dike, a tourist distribution center, and a farmers’ park. Jiudu Village includes the Fahua Temple, the Shuiyun Temple, and a fengshui forest. Yang'anban Village has a national mountain bike racing track, a riverside art gallery, and a lotus pond. Wukeng Village contains remnants of the Min Dong Red Army Rear Hospital and sites of Red Army caves. The banks of the Huotongxi River are lined with lush trees and fragrant grass, while fields sway with rice and wheat, and hillsides are fragrant with tea and fruit, creating a uniquely picturesque landscape.
