Location: Qianlin Road, North Jiaocheng Subdistrict, Jiaocheng District, Ningde City

Introduction: The Cai Family Residence was built during the Daoguang era (1821–1850) of the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of 1,190 square meters. The main hall features a width of six bays and a depth of four bays, with richly carved beams and rafters; the ancestral temple currently retains the main gate of the clan shrine, the Wenyu Gate, the pond arched bridge (half-moon pond), the ceremonial gate, corridors, and more.

Protected area: To the east up to the Cai Family Residence and commercial buildings on Qianlin Road, to the west up to Ningde Hotel, to the south up to the main entrance of Ningde Hotel, and to the north up to the Cai Family Ancient Residence at No. 49, Xiajingtang Lane.

In 2009, the Cai Family Residence and Ancestral Temple in Jiaocheng were announced by the People's Government of Fujian Province as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

North Jiaocheng Subdistrict: Located in the southeastern part of Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, Fujian Province, North Jiaocheng Subdistrict governs 7 communities. National Highway 104 passes through the area.
